The Congress on Workplace Health & Safety reviews and reports on emerging trends and issues related to workplace health and safety. The Congress engages in activities that promote career resiliency and contribute to the development of a work environment that promote safety and health of nurses and their clients. In addition, the Congress educates and supports members in implementing strategies that enhance their voice in organizational policy related to workplace health and safety.

Congress on Public Policy
The Congress on Public Policy develops public policy and legislative initiatives related to MNA's Legislative Platform, analyzes public policies and proposed legislation, educates and collaborates with legislators and public policy makers, and mobilizes members/nurses to take action on timely pertinent issues.

Congress on Nursing Practice
The Congress on Nursing Practice defines and clarifies nursing practice in the state of Michigan, analyzes and reports on emerging models of nursing practice, educates and supports members to implement strategies that will enhance their voice in organizational policy related to practice, and engages in activities that contribute to development of a work environment that promotes the safety and health of nurses and their clients.
