Become a Legislative Liaison NOW!
The Michigan Nurses Association greatly appreciates the legislative
support that we have received from the Legislative Liaison program.
But, WE NEED MORE LIAISONS! Every legislator needs a registered
nurse!
As a legislative liaison, you will be the designated MNA contact
person for your legislator(s). In some cases, more than one
member serves as the contact person. You will represent MNA
and the profession of nursing by communicating with the legislator
by phone, mail, e-mail, and face-to-face contact; to provide
information on issues that are important to nursing. We also
encourage our liaisons to attend fund-raisers on behalf of MNA
and volunteer for political campaigns.
