Wednesday, March 24th
Lansing Center, Lansing
|
Imagine carrying signs and walking with over a thousand nurses and nursing students through the streets of downtown Lansing to the Capitol steps. Imagine standing on the steps, filling the front of the Capitol, and raising your voice in support of safe patient care. Then imagine having lunch with those legislators who saw and heard your passion for nursing, and telling them about the issues that concern you.
In one day, you can be part of one of the largest groups to rally at the Capitol in Michigan. Your time at Michigan Nurses MARCH! will make you more politically aware of what needs to happen in the House and the Senate to make the workplace a safer environment for you and your patients. You’ll understand why safe staffing must become a priority for legislators by hearing testimony, analysis and the national viewpoint from noted author Suzanne Gordon.
You will never be the same after attending Michigan Nurses MARCH! Join us on Wednesday, March 24 in Lansing for this highly charged day of political activism. Come help us take a strong stand for ourselves, our patients and our workplaces. |
