Michigan Nurses Foundation Scholarship
The Michigan Nurses Foundation was created in 2000 to advance nursing and nursing education by awarding scholarships and research grants, and by providing financial aid for the treatment of recovering nurses. MNF is funded through private contributions and fundraising activities. A minimum of four $500 scholarships will be awarded.
The following are the minimum nursing scholarship eligibility criteria:
- The applicant must be a student currently enrolled in a Michigan College/School of Nursing that grants a certificate for practical nursing, or an associate, baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing.
- The applicant must be in good academic standing with demonstrated progress toward degree completion.

MNSA Scholarship Application
This $450 scholarship is available to a nursing student who is a member of MNSA/NSNA and will be an undergraduate during the 2007-2008 academic year. The student must show proof of MNSA/NSNA membership (a copy of their card). A letter of reference must also be submitted from a nursing instructor, a dean, or director of your school of nursing. We are looking at the content of the essay, and extracurricular activities in your community relative to the topic. The essay is to be approximately 500 words typed and double spaced.
