Muskegon County Health Department nurses ratify contract
Muskegon, MI – Registered nurses at the Muskegon County Health Department, represented by the Michigan Nurses Association, ratified a four year contract this week. The contract calls for wage increases of a minimum of 10% over the course of the contract, with some adjustments made based on the CPI.
The nurses will retain the same medical covered, with no copayments. The nurses will pay for 3% of the monthly premiums in 2007, 5% in 2008, 6% in 2009 and 7% in 2010.
Sick leave and accumulation, annual leave accumulation, and longevity will remain the same for current nurses; nurses hired under the new contract will see some changes.
