Rally/Demonstration to support Detroit Medical Center Harper Hutzel nurses who have filed a petition with the National Labor Relations Board and are seeking a fair election, free from intimidation
WHY
As Registered Nurses at DMC hospitals in Detroit seek a voice
in addressing adverse working conditions and quality of patient care:
- DMC CEO Mike Duggan continues to utilize public funds for anti-union communications campaign
- Duggan and management team continue to ignore issues;
use tactics that designate the majority of DMC nurses as
“supervisors” and, thus, ineligible to organize, vote.
