WHAT       
Nursing and community leaders standing together to show their commitment to both the community and health care. Registered Nurses at DMC Hospitals are seeking a voice in addressing their working conditions and patient care.

WHY         
Registered Nurses at Harper Hutzel in Detroit have a filed a petition for election with the National Labor Relations Board; hearings are in process. The RNs are seeking to organize a union with the Michigan Nurses Association.
