We are seeking dedicated registered nurses and experienced union organizers to join our exciting campaigns. Bring your organizing skills to the union that is leading in building a statewide RN movement.
Organizers primarily work on representational elections/external organizing and work individually or part of a team, under the direction of Director of Organizing. Some internal organizing may be required.
Applicants should be able to use union and community organizing strategies to build committees, motivate and develop leaders, organize around issues, deal with employers’ campaigns, track member support, and show leadership. Serves as a general resource on nursing practice and social advocacy issues for MNA.
RN license and at least one year of experience as a nurse leader within your local bargaining unit required. Excellent salary and benefits commensurate with experience. Significant in state travel may be involved.
