The Michigan Nurses Foundation (MNF) advances nursing by awarding education scholarships and by providing research grants. The foundation also provides treatment grants to nurses who are recovering from drug abuse. Through the Foundation, giving opportunities are provided for those who wish to provide a legacy today for tomorrow’s nurses.

MNF Scholarship
The Michigan Nurses Foundation was created in 2000 to advance nursing and nursing education by awarding scholarships and research grants and by providing financial aid for the treatment of recovering nurses. MNF is funded through private contributions and fundraising activities. A minimum of four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded each year. Click here to find out more.

Research in Nursing Grant Award
The Research in Nursing Grant Award is a $5,000 competitive research award designed to fund either conduct of research or utilization of research in practice. Managing the Research in Nursing Grant Award falls directly in line with a function of MNF – to award nurses and nursing students educational scholarships and research grants. Safe Patient Care Nursing Practice Scholarship
The Safe Patient Care Nursing Practice Scholarship provides up to $2,000 for MNA members to attend a national conference in a specialty area.  Click here to find out more.
